Our Halloween tradtions

I have been having so much fun reading everyone's posts on my count down to Halloween giveaway. I thought it only fair to share my families tradtions for Halloween.

Every year my Husband and I pack up the kids to drive around the neighborhood to check out the "spook" houses, as they are so delicately put. We have about 4 favorites we like to visit every year.

We also dress up our yard with our custom graveyard.  Each year it seems to get a little bigger.
and the carving of the pumpkins is a must in our house.

I want to thank everyone for playing along with my giveaway, I only wish I could give everyone a gift. alas, when I am rich and famous I maybe then I will be able to. lol
the winners will be announced on Halloween!

Wow, I love your traditions! It reminds me of Christmas, when we were off to look at the neighbors lights and displays! Isn't Halloween great? :)

Love the Jack-o-Lanterns! We don't really treat Halloween as a big deal in this country. Our family was one of the few that did! When I was younger my parents used to throw a fancy dress party for their friends and everyone used to make their own costumes. That was the best part, weeks in advance everyone discussing what they would make and nipping round the neighbours house to lend their devil cloak from last year, or whatever.

One of my fave photos from that time is of my very short sighted be-spectacled neighbour Sue in her home made bat costume which looked amazing! :o)
