down in the back because my back is super lame...

a few new pieces that I have made the past couple days.
These are the current results that caused my newest back ache.
seems when I sit down for long periods of time....like when I sculpt new work, my back does not agree that it is a good idea. This has been a on going battle between me and my back for well, seems like since my early 20s, but now that I am getting on closer to 40 it is getting worse and more frequent. It really in pisses me  off, but my back does not care that it makes me mad and continues to send me off to my chiropractor.
well enough complaing....did I ever mention that I like to use my blog and blog readers as my therapy, it is much cheaper and I feel very comfortable venting to you all.
thanks!

I commented on this doll on the ADO FB post, but I just noticed the teeeeeny row of white dots going up her forehead. How perfect!

Sorry for the back troubles. I use an over-the-counter herbal muscle relaxant called Valerin (which is just powdered Valerian Root). You can get it at the grocery store vitamin isle. It stinks like the worst gym socks ever, but three or four of them before bedtime (they're not strong) will let your sleep do you more good overnight.

Love octo woman! The color is just perfect too! Sorry to hear about your back, mine those that too :oP and it pisses me off also! I hear stretching every now and then helps, I've tried it, but I still end up walking like an 80 year old woman now and then! Michele

Heh! I have that problem now, too, since I seem to have more time to actually do the art! I forget that long periods of sitting will do that--I am usually literally running all over the place.

To be fair, you are getting a good amount of wonderful stuff done--BOTH these monsters kick butt!

I can sympathize with you over your back pain :( Sometimes I find I have to step away from the sculpt for a break.

The Dr. told me to try hanging from the top of the door and lifting and crossing my legs. Sometimes stretching like that does help - sometimes not.

I like your new tentacled lady! Very cool!

Cool monsters! And vent away hehehe I hear ya. have you tried acupuncture? that was the only thing that really helped me, after tons of chiropractors and all kinds of other stuff. Oh, and pilatus (sp?)

Hey Nicole... love the monsters! Thanks for popping in earlier today on the KBG blog too!

Sorry to hear about your back though. Have you ever looked into Reiki to help with the chiro? Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

I'd recognize your monsters anywhere,
you've truly mastered your creations
Thank you for your dedication to ADO!
Melatonin (buy at grocery/drug store) works for sleep, I even give it at the hospital.
